Winter!!

Wow, winter sure is arriving fast here in Utah!! It barely broke 40 degrees today, and rained in town (snowed in the mountains)! This means ski season is just around the corner! I love the cold weather, especially before I've turned my heater on, because I have one of the lovely heater cats Garrison Keillor talks about on A Prairie Home Companion. Madeline has moved to sleeping under the covers, ensuring that I am so warm and toasty that I never want to get out of bed in the morning!

I went to Denver over the weekend, and got to see some amazing colors as I drove over the Rockies. I'll put up some pictures as soon as I get a chance to pull them off of my camera.
